Eavesdropping on Herbivores: Using Contact Microphones to Quantify Plant-Insect Interactions

This research uses contact microphones to detect and analyze vibrational signals produced by herbivorous insects. The resulting measurements help quantify plant–insect interactions and support non-invasive approaches to pest monitoring.
